Team Kobra and Team Ultimate 4x4 enjoyed a great practice day near Rayton this past Saturday 7 March. This quarry is used for one of the Maxxis SA National 4XTR events and offers some really daunting obstacles, thus a proper place to practice! The 2nd round of the Maxxis SA National 4XTR Championship takes place near Rustenburg this coming Saturday 14 March. The GPS coordinates for the venue are S25.78830° E27.39507°. Come and watch the drama unfold as the 3 major newcomers to the Modified Class (Team Kobra, Hanko Swart and Lukas Holtshauzen) strive to make an impact in what is arguably the most competitive class in 4XTR racing! The old guard is up in arms and want to stamp their authority on proceedings while the newcomers want to prove their worth, mouth watering stuff to watch!
The racing starts at 09h30 and carries on till late afternoon, don't miss this day of extreme 4x4 action just around the corner for our Gauteng friends.
