Z-Factor Newsletter | Issue 10

Team Z-Factor had a howling weekend at the 6th round of the Maxxis SA National 4XTR Championship Series near Brits this past Saturday 23 August! Team Kwagga won the Street Legal Locker Class and Team Ultimate 4x4 snatched their first podium of the season in the ultra-competitive Modified Class! Further good news is that my friends Tonie Botes and Dirk Luus were on hand with their cameras to take great action pictures for us! Tonie’s pictures of Team Ultimate 4x4 (Barrie Drenth and Brendon Gird) can be viewed under the “Gallery” tab on our website
Dirk took pictures of just about everyone and you can view his exciting collection at this link, You can choose the images you like and then pay for prints or digital downloads on the page, I looked at them and they are well worthwhile!
As we are nearing the end of the season, I have compiled two new videos which can be viewed under the “Videos” tab on our website, or simply follow this link The topmost video is of Team Ultimate 4x4 competing at Brits on Saturday, really worth watching.
The second video is an all-action compilation of Team Kwagga’s best (and worst!) moments since we started competing last season. Click on the video second from the top, sit back and feast your eyes!! This one is no-nonsense action packed from cover-to-cover, we hope you enjoy it!
The second last round of the Maxxis SA  National 4XTR Championship Series takes place near Rayton, about 30km east of Pretoria on the N4 on Saturday 11 October, we hope to see many of you out there! More details and directions will follow, please book the date in the meantime.
Lastly, Team Kwagga will take part in the N1 4x4 World Record Attempt at Tarlton Raceway this Saturday 30 August. The idea is to get the most Land Cruisers together in one place at the same time. Did I mention it will be at Tarlton Raceway? Do you know that it’s a real drag strip? Do you know that Kwagga will do two official drag races, one with Arno as driver and one with KooZ as driver? Come and watch mechanical mayhem as we try to be the fastest Land Cruiser over a quarter mile on Saturday! Officially!
Hell Yeah Baby!
